BRIEF REVIEW: The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand

This book was not terrible. I'd read it again, or rather put it on the Read Again list; if it weren't so long. (There's just so many other things I want to read.) The descriptive style was enjoyable; Ayn Rand did an excellent job of setting the scene, describing the thoughts of the main character of the scene, dialogue, and then more character thoughts and reactions as kind of a summary of whatever had just taken place. Given the style of the book, it didn't feel like it dragged on unnecessarily, except for maybe one small spot in the latter half. I enjoy this older style of literature, and philosophical discourse, so I found this to be a decent read.

NOTE 1.: I listened to the audio of the book on YouTube.

NOTE 2.: I don't take issue with the assault scene. It is what it is; it's in the book and I'm not taking it personally.

NOTE 3.: I don't necessarily agree with the author's philosophy; I just like learning about other perspectives.
